Free Domain Registration (1 Year) Promotion was Extended

1and1.com is offering free registration for one year on a .com domain.  This is a great deal and expires on May 31, 2010 June 30, 2010 (extended promotional date).  If you already have a hosting plan or server, then there is no additional fees.

If you also require a hosting plan, 1and1 offers free domains for the life of your subscription.  This current deal will give you three months of hosting for free when you subscribe for a year.  They have different hosting packages based on your needs so I recommend looking at the details on the site.

I registered Making Cents of It through this promotion last month.  Blogger acts as my host so I did not need to buy a hosting plan.  1and1 took about a week to register the free domain, but you can't complain about the price and their customer service representative was very friendly when I called to see why I couldn't use the domain yet.  Once it was registered, it was easy to set up the account with blogger.
