According to Sam's Club's Facebook page, new members that join before August 1, 2010 will get a $20 gift card as a thank you for joining.
The basic membership costs $40 so this basically makes it a half price deal. The Facebook page does not state if the gift card would be given to you in the store or if it was a mail-in offer. If you find out, please let us know.
