First 20,000 Get Free Bike Locks

Ronalds Lock Shop is offering the first 20,000 people to sign up for their mailing list a free bike lock. After I signed up I got the following message:

We will verify your information and your free bicycle lock will ship soon. You should receive it in 3-5 weeks. Thank you for your interest in bicycle lock from Ronalds Lock Shop.

The bike lock is not advertised on the store's homepage, but I did find a different free gift lock which from the picture looks like a luggage lock.

Warning: An anonymous comment on Mrs. Moneysaver's post for this deal states that it is a scam. I did a few Google searches and could not find any evidence in either direction. I try to always verify deals prior to posting them but this one is for a limited number of locks. As I cannot verify this information at the time of posting, please sign-up at your own risk.
