Starbucks is partnering with Twitter to allow you to send a Starbucks' giftcard via Twitter to your friends. Sync your Starbucks account with Twitter. When you send a tweet that follows the following pattern,
@tweetacoffee to @FriendsAccount [your message]Starbucks will send your friend a $5 giftcard. They will charge your credit card on file, so please remember that these are not free giftcards.
To promote this new program Starbucks is running a promotion. The first 100,000 customers to use the tweet-a-coffee program with a Visa card will get a promotional $5 Starbucks giftcard for him/herself. This promotion is until November 6, 2013 or when 100,000 customers sign up. That means that when you buy a $5 giftcard for your friend, you'll get another $5 for yourself.
