From what I can tell, this product isn't as easy as just applying it in their mouth because the site mentions that an authorized PlaqClnz Groomer will use the spray and that you'll be encouraged to continue using the at-home PlaqClnz Gel product. The sample is of the gel so maybe it can be used without the spray, but not as effective without the groomer's treatment first.
