Target has a sale going on this week for Banana Boat and depending on your store you might be able to turn this into a money maker. The actual sale says that if you buy two select Banana Boat products you'll get a $5 Target gift card. The lip balm is on sale for $1.79 and valid for the promotion however a few bloggers are reporting that you cannot buy two lip balms and get the gift card.
When I was at Target today, I looked at the signs and didn't see anything in the fine print saying you couldn't purchase two lip balms so I grabbed them. When I got to the register the gift card promotion didn't come up but I mentioned it to the cashier. He called over his supervisor and she immediately said that the Banana Boat promotion had been giving the cashiers problems all day. She manually issued the gift card and I walked away with a profit of $1.42.
I don't know how your local Target will read the fine print of the deal but it doesn't state that your total purchase must be other the $5 value of the gift card, just that you must purchase two select items. Good luck!
