Google and Intuit have teamed up to help small businesses grow online. Right now, they are rolling out a program to help you build a website for your business. You will get a free business website for one year. This is currently only available for select states so if you can't apply now, sign up for their mailing list to get an email when your state is added.
Small businesses are getting online through this free program from Google. Sign up and you'll receive:
- Free easy-to-build Intuit website
- Free customized domain name
- Free web hosting for one year
- Free online tools and training
This promotion is for the first year free. If you don't want to continue after that, you can cancel before the first year is over. If you keep your website, you'll be charged $6.99 per month ($2 for the domain and $4.99 for the hosting). That comes out to about $83.88 per year. Based on personal experience, that price seems reasonable but I would still recommend shopping around when the year is up if you like the website.
