Before I begin, I want to just point out that I can't do any scientific tests to know how well the SPF actually works.  I also can't verify the advertised waterpoof qualities for that same reason.  I am just going to tell you about my use of the product and how it compared to other sunblocks I have used in the past.

My initial opinion of the product is that it was very smooth and I did not require more than a few drops to apply a layer on my face.  I used the sunblock instead of my usual moisturizer under my makeup and I liked the feel of it.  It's not greasy going on and my skin feels nice with it.  When I put my makeup, a mineral powder, on over it my face was still able to breathe and did not feel like I was wearing anything.

If you are like me and have sensitive skin, I have good news.  This product didn't irritate my skin like other sunblocks I have used.  In the past I had to make a choice between a reaction to the sunscreen or sunburn.  Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid gave the protection without causing a reaction.
