Today (June 29, 2013) only, you can get any solid colored flip flops for only $1 at Old Navy. Solid color means it can't be wedge, embellished, metallic, printed, or leather styles. There is a limit of 5 per customer.

The normal price is 2 for $5 or $2.99 for a single pair. It might not be worth driving over and fighting possible crowds, but if you're already going to be near an Old Navy it might be a good time to stop in.

$49 for Kindle After Gift Card at Walmart

It's very rare for large ticket items like the Kindle to go on sale. The manufacturer sets the price and stores can't really lower them. The difference between stores is the promotion that goes with the item. For example, some stores might offer free cases or extra games to get you in the door.

This week, Walmart is promoting the Kindle e-ink. Until May 5, 2012, you can get a $30 Walmart gift card when you purchase a Kindle, (6" E Ink Display). That means that the $79 Kindle will end up being $49 after the gift card. This is one of the best promotions I've seen on a Kindle. It is not available online, so you will have to head out to the store if you want to pick one up.

Babycakes Cake Pops Maker for Under $1.99 (Plus Tax)

Kohl's has a great rebate for $10 off the Babycakes Cake Pops Maker. This rebate is great because the cake pop maker is currently on sale for $14.99. Use the promotional code SECRETSANTA for 20% off. This makes the total $11.99 bring the after rebate price to $1.99.

For free shipping, you must spend at least $50 at Kohl's website but you can get this item in the store too. Prices might differ and you'll need a physical coupon for the discount. I recommend asking the cashier if they have any coupons. For sales like this they tend to keep an extra one behind the register.

For the rebate, your purchase must be dated today or tomorrow (December 11-12, 2011) only.

If shopping online, go through eBates (4% back) or Shop at Home (2% back) to bring the price down even farther. If you're a new member to either site, you'll get $5 just for signing up. eBates has an addition promotion where you can choose a $10 giftcard instead of the $5 cash.
