iTunes has an exclusive offer for the new album by U2, Songs of Innocence. The album is free, but it's a little tricky to download if you don't know where to look.

When you open iTunes, go to the store window. Instead of searching for the album, click "purchased" from the quick links menu on the right. You will see the album in your library with the iCloud logo. You can download the tracks by clicking the iCloud image.

Free Downloads of All SimplePhysics Games

Do you love science? Building things? SimplePhysics is a series of app games that use realistic science. My favorite game is Dummy Defense, which requires you to build a shelter to protect a dummy from different scenarios.

Today only (possibly until Tuesday), all four apps created by Andrew Garrison are being given away for free. The regular price is $1.99 each. According to the SimplePhysics Facebook page, the games are available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. The Reddit post, only links to the Play Store.

Free Bruno Mars Download from American Eagle and Shazam

Turn on the Shazam app on your phone and watch the latest commercial for American Eagle. Once the app recognizes the commercial's music, you will see a link for a free download of Bruno Mar's Treasure.

The Shazam app is free on both Android and Apple phones. They do offer an upgraded version of the app without advertisements but the free app is great. You can also use it when you hear a good song on the radio to identify the song.
