Free In Flight WiFi for the Holidays

.

Last time I went on vacation, I truly enjoyed my free WiFi on AirTran through GoGo Inflight. Now they sent me an email with a great deal for the upcoming holiday season, free WiFi.  Normally, prices depend on the flight's distance but they do occasionally offer free usage or discount codes. A 24-hour pass normally costs $11 with individual flights less.

This holiday season, GoGo has teamed up with Google to offer free WiFi on AirTran Airways, Delta, and Virgin America. This free WiFi will be available on every domestic flight from November 20, 2010 through January 2, 2011.

If you plan to take advantage of this deal, make sure you sign up for a GoGo account prior to your flight (even if it's in the airport).  I'm sure there's a way around it, but you need the internet to create an account but you can't create an account without the internet.  Also, if you have trouble logging on once on your flight, try a different browser. I had difficulty with Firefox but IE worked fine.
