I was recently asked to watch and review the first episode of the new work-in-progress drama, Untitled Jersey City Project. Before watching the video clip, I read about the project and thought it sounded kind of interesting. The Untitled Jersey City Project is an experiment in how entertainment concepts are developed.
It was very short, only 2:30, but I can see some potential in the idea. From the first episode, I didn't really learn much about the storyline. I can tell it's about a possible murder. Since it's based in Jersey City, I feel like we can assume it's going to be something that has to do with the mob and corruption.
Based on less than three minutes of video, I'm not really sure if I can form a full opinion of the show. I thought it was interesting the way it was done and I think that these short episodes will be great for people with short attention spans. The only problem I recognize is that it might be difficult to figure out the full story in such short bursts.
