Free Downloads of All SimplePhysics Games

Do you love science? Building things? SimplePhysics is a series of app games that use realistic science. My favorite game is Dummy Defense, which requires you to build a shelter to protect a dummy from different scenarios.

Today only (possibly until Tuesday), all four apps created by Andrew Garrison are being given away for free. The regular price is $1.99 each. According to the SimplePhysics Facebook page, the games are available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. The Reddit post, only links to the Play Store.

• SimpleRockets - Build rocket ships with realistic physics and explore the solar system.
• SimplePhysics - Design everything from tree houses to ferris wheels and then simulate your design with a realistic physics engine.
• Dummy Defense - Protect your dummy from explosions, boulders, spiked walls, and more (using realistic physics, of course!)
• BridgeBasher - Design a bridge and then destroy it. Oh, if you had not guessed, this one has realistic physics too.

Edit: To be clear, the free version of my games will not include new updates (unless there is some serious bug). The store page for these apps will be taken down tomorrow (or maybe Tuesday, not sure yet).

Great Deal on Games at Toys'R'Us

Starting tomorrow, November 6, 2011, Toys'R'Us has some great deals on toys.

The best deal is Operation (Toy Story 3 Edition) for only $1 but they have tons of other games priced $20 and below. I'm not sure regular retail values of the games to know if the other sales are a good deal however besides these low prices you can also get a free $10 Toys'R'Us gift card with $35 purchases or a $15 Toys'R'Us gift card with a $50 purchase.

I recommend stocking up on toys because with the holidays around the corner it can be really be a nice surprise for underprivileged kids. Buy one or two of these cheap games and drop them off at your local Toys for Tots drop center to give a child a happy holiday season.

The new Spin the Wheel to Win promotion at Dave & Busters makes everyone a winner. Just spin the virtual wheel and win one of three prizes:

The website doesn't list an end date for the promotion and I can't find a rules page to figure that out. The coupon I won tonight for $10 free game play has an expiration date of June 30, 2011.

Free Angry Bird for PC

I've never played Angry Birds but I'm always hearing about it. Right now, you can get a free copy of Angry Birds for your PC if you are a new customer to Best Buy's Intel AppUp Center. Just download the Intel AppUp Center and create a new account. That's it. Angry Birds will show up in your apps after you finish registering.

UPDATE: The AppUp Center won't install on my computer saying the version (Vista) of Windows isn't supported. Anyone else having a problem?
