Shared Video: Five Things Not to Buy at a Drug Store

Do you agree or disagree with this video? Personally, I only go to drug stores for items on sale.

Must Watch: Save vs Spend

I just saw this clip from Rachael Ray and wanted to share it. First off, I wouldn't even spend the lower price on that outfit. However, it does show how easy it is to save money. You don't need fancy brands to look fabulous.

Why Some Deals Require Rushing to the Store

Macys had a typo in a recent flier. A $1500 diamond necklace was on sale for $479. Problem was, they forgot the 9 in the ad. People rushed to their local Macys and bought the $47 necklace before Macys caught the mistake. Anyone that bought the jewelry in the store got a great deal. If you placed the order online, it was canceled before being shipped.

Check out the entire news story on Morning Rush.

Just a reminder as to why a drive to the store is worth it.

Money Can Buy Happiness (If Spent the Right Way)

AsapSCIENCE is a great channel on YouTube that creates videos on different science topics, mostly related to psychology. Here is a great video explaining how you can be happier. It discusses that while just having money won't make you happier, the way you spend your money can impact your overall wellbeing.

Free Sony Movie Studio 11 Video Editing Software from NewEgg

If you're like me, you don't really deal with video editing often. In fact, the only time you really use an editing software is to enter a contest or create a basic slideshow for a special occasion. Both Macs and PCs have editing software built into the operating systems, but they're the most basic of software available.

Right now on NewEgg.com, you can get Sony Movie Studio 11 for free after a $30 mail-in rebate. This software is a basic video editor, however it is better than the stock software you might currently be using. NewEgg offers free shipping on select products so this software will be completely free after the rebate.

Since you are shopping online, consider using eBates (1% back) to save even more. New members can get a $5-$10 bonus after their first purchase.
