Did you know Best Buy has a daily deal site? The best part is that right now when you sign up for the daily email you will get 100 free points in your Best Buy Reward's account. When you reach 250 points you can redeem them for a $5 gift certificate.

Donate Blood and Get Free Best Buy Rewards

I learned about an interesting website tonight. After you donate blood, head over to Red Cross Racing and record your donation. Each donation will earn you points which you can redeem for prizes. A whole blood donation will earn you a $10 Best Buy reward check. Just for registering for the website you'll earn enough points to redeem a $5 Best Buy reward check.

To exchange your Red Cross Racing Donor Rewards Points (“points”) into Best Buy Reward Zone program points (“Reward Zone Points”), you must (1) be (or become) a Reward Zone program member and activate your membership on MyRZ.com (2) log on to your Donor Rewards Membership Account at redcrossracing.com, access Reward Zone points in the prize catalog, and provide your Reward Zone program member number.

I'm not sure if this site will only allow you to claim donations made to the Red Cross, so if your area uses a different organization for blood donations you might not be able to redeem prizes. Also, the site itself runs very slow so you will need patients. Unless it's just my computer in which case you will have no problems redeeming.

Anyone that has a Best Buy Rewards membership should log into the website. I never knew they had any deals other than earning points for purchases, but it seems they offer deals through partners as well.  I was just checking to see if my purchases from yesterday posted yet to see if I earned a reward.

Right now you can print out a coupon for a free large soda at AMC when you buy a large popcorn.  There is no point requirement for the coupon.

If the direct link doesn't work, you can just head over to Best Buy's website and click your way through to the reward's page. Once you login you should see the coupon in the slideshow of deals.

Money Making Deals on Video Games

These two deals have to be some of the greatest deals I've seen in a while. You can make a profit by buying and selling video games.

Amazon currently has Your Shape for the Wii on sale for  $18.50, which by itself is a great price, around $50 everywhere else.  If you trade it in to Best Buy, you will get a Best Buy gift card for $25 or a check for $16.  If you have any upcoming purchases at Best Buy, this is a great way to get some extra money towards your purchase.

Another deal through Amazon is Glory of Heracles for Nintendo DS.  This game is priced at $10.99 but has two promotions attached to it.  The first promotion is for $10 off a future video game purchase on Amazon and the second promotion is $5 credit for MP3 purchases.  To make this even better, you can then trade the game in to a used game store.
