To promote this new program Starbucks is running a promotion. Just in time for the holidays, LivingSocial is offering a deal to help children in need. They have a deal for $5 for a $10 donation to Toys for Tots. Based on the rules for the promotion, this donation will count for the v.me promotion if you pay using the new service. If you didn't already know this, Toys for Tots is an annual program run by the Marine Corps. Their goal is to provide toys to kids that otherwise wouldn't have presents for the holiday season. They have drop off locations all over the country in businesses and you can also make financial donations directly on their website.
